Scholarships

FSEEF recognizes that there are deserving high school students in the community that need assistance in funding their post-secondary education. Since 2004, FSEEF has awarded over $40,000 for Franklin-Simpson High School graduates. We work closely with the FSHS guidance counselors to insure that anyone qualified for our scholarships have the opportunity to apply. FSEEF offers two scholarship options: the Franklin Simpson Educational Excellence Foundation Scholarship and the Franklin-Simpson Alumni Association Scholarship.

Franklin-Simpson Educational Excellence Foundation Scholarship

The FSEEF Scholarship is a one-time scholarship for students entering an education-related field.

FSEEF scholarship applicants must:

  • Have a 3.0 unweighted high school grade point average and a 90% attendance record for the first two trimesters of senior year
  • Plan to major in education or other social science (psychology, social work, sociology, criminology, etc.)
  • Demonstrate leadership and involvement throughout their high school career

Franklin-Simpson Alumni Association Scholarship

The Franklin-Simpson Alumni Scholarship is a one-time scholarship for students of F-S who exemplifies character, leadership and academic talent. Applicants must be the child of a Franklin-Simpson High School graduate. Need is a crucial factor for applicants. Scholarship applications will be available NOW! F-S Alumni Association scholarship applicants must:

  • Maintain a 2.75 unweighted high school grade point average and a 90% attendance record for first two trimesters of senior year
  • Be the child of a Franklin-Simpson High school graduate
  • Demonstrate leadership and involvement throughout their high school career
  • Finalists will be identified by the scholarship committee and notify finalists of interview schedule.
