CONGRATULATIONS, JOKER PHILLIPS!

Franklin-Simpson alumnus and football standout Joker Phillips has been named Head Coach of the University of Kentucky football team following the retirement of Coach Rich Brooks.  On behalf of all Franklin-Simpson Alumni, we wish Joker only THE BEST in his new career. 

Franklin-Simpson's Joker Phillips Designated UK Head Coach

Franklin-Simpson's own Joker Phillips has been designated as the University of Kentucky's head football coach.  Joker, one of the FSAA's newest members, can be seen at the press conference announcing his new position at the following link:  http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php?s=&url_channel_id=39&url_article_id=21368&change_well_id=2.  During his acceptance Joker talks about the importance of family, friends and growing up in Franklin, KY.  CONGRATULATIONS, JOKER!!

F-S ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CONTRIBUTES TO LES PLAYGROUND

Recognizing the need for a playground at Lincoln Elementary, the F-S Alumni Association contributed $2,000 to the fundraising efforts.  The FSAA contribution will allow Lincoln Elementary to enter PHASE 2 of their playground project.  Thanks to our Franklin-Simpson alumni whose generous contributions allowed our association to partner in this important project!  We can't wait to see future F-S alumni getting physical on the playground!

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PRESENTS FIRST SCHOLARSHIP TO STEFANIE JONES

Stefanie Jones stepped into the world of FSHS alumni in style receiving the first ever Franklin-Simpson Alumni Association scholarship in the amount of $5,000.  Stefanie is active in many sports and extra-curricular activities and came highly recommended.  Stefanie is the daughter of Dale & Pam Gregory Jones and is attending Lindsey Wilson College in the fall.  Congratulations, Stefanie!!!
