Three Lincoln Elementary students took advantage of a beautiful spring day to mount up and ride. With the help of NBTRC volunteers, the students sat tall in their saddles for games, exercises and riding lessons. They especially loved to trot!! After riding, the students groomed their horses and gave a much needed spring bath to the NBTRC donkey!! Through activities at New Beginnings, students learn responsibility, basic horsemanship and experience the special bond with the horses.
